Blackjack Switch Rules
Every game comes with rules. But it is important to note that players will be playing according to the general blackjack rules that they already know of with just a little twist to some of the rules.
- Players deal with one hand instead of two at the beginning of the game. The cards are dealt face up and the first wager should by all means wager on both hands. Trying it out the first time can be rather difficult to understand. But after we give you this example it will be like cutting margarine with a hot knife.
- For example; at first, you have two hands, say the first hand you have a ten 10, and 6. On the second hand, you have a 5 and 10 giving you a total of 16 on the first hand. And a total of 15 on the second hand. To be frank with you they are not the greatest hands you could have. Because chances of getting a 5 or 4 are very low. So now you can switch the 6 with the 10. Meaning the other hand you will have 20 and the other hand remaining with 11 which is quite good.
- It is important that players note that you can only switch your hand once and not more than once. And the game will go on like any regular game of blackjack.
The Odds
Blackjack switch will make you think well, it is a variant that will make you win all the time. Which is true but do not think that it is a no-brainer. But it is.
- We all know that the win for blackjack is 3:2 but for this particular variant sadly it is 1:1. But in our own opinion, it is only fair that way.
- This is rather disappointing, but when the dealer reaches 22 they do not call it a bust but instead it is called a tie. In other casinos, they will tell you that it is known as a push. Be on the lookout for such names as well.
