Crown Resorts Planning to Reopen With Half of the Workforce

Crown Resorts CEO, Barry Felstead, confirmed that they will be opening. But, they will be working with only half of the normal workforce at their different restaurants and bars. And, according to them, this is the first phase of their reopening.
Felstead went on to confirm that he will be reopening 8 of the 35 restaurants that it owns during the first phase. Part of the entities that are set to reopen include:
- The Merrywell
- Nobu
- Silks
- Modo Mio
- TWR
- Bistro Guillaume
The Health Measures Being Put in Place by the Resort
The resort CEO went on to confirm that they are going to be implementing different measure to ensure the safety of their workers and customers. Also, they will be following the guidelines from the Ministry of Health.
If the casinos are going to reopen alongside the restaurants. Therefore, here are some of the measures that are going to be put in place.
- Use of sanitizers
- Following the distancing rules
- Use of gloves
- Testing of temperatures before entry
- Constant cleaning for Hygienic purposes
Australians Excited About the Reopening of Restaurants and Bars
According to Felstead, their restaurants are almost booked out. Meaning, there is still hope that the resort can get to revive its revenues. Especially considering the hotels are also getting booking as well.
But, they are going to make sure that they limit the number of people who can be in the restaurant at once to 100. This is to help observe the social distancing rules. Additionally, frequent cleaning will be done in those places that have frequent human traffic.
